Conall Vest

Conall is a functional gilet for men, designed to perform well in outdoor activities. It has a windproof upper part and is made with fabric mapping for optimal comfort and freedom of movement. The gilet has a slim fit and is equipped with a front zip and a button for extra ventilation.

The stand-up collar and zip with chin guard provide extra protection against the elements. The gilet has two front zipped pockets for secure storage. The gilet has a PFC-free water-repellent finish. The slightly longer back panel provides extra protection and comfort.

Polyester is a synthetic material used in garments that need to be water repellent, lightweight, breathable or able to transport moisture away from the body – whether working in unison or on their own, depending on the function of the garment. For a specific garment's characteristics, see its product description. Elastane is a highly elastic, synthetic polyurethane fibre, also known by the brand name Lycra. The material is used in combination with other fibres to give fabrics additional elasticity. Elastane can be stretched up to six times its original length and then return to its original length. Do not dry cleanTake care of your garment, consider how you handle and store it. Here and on the inside of the garment you will find washing instructions to help you look after it in the best possible way. Wash only when needed and air or wipe garments over with a damp cloth in the first instance. Reactivate the impregnation treatment on waterproof garments by ironing them in accordance with the washing instructions. Repair tears with repair patches and contact us for spare parts. This garment is not waterproof.

Below is a simple summary of which garments are waterproof based on a three-level scale. We have formulated our waterproofness scale based on the waterproofness of the material, whether the garment has taped or welded seams, and how the garment is constructed.

Not waterproof - This garment is not waterproof and will not repel rain.

Water-repellent - This garment is water-repellent and will repel light rain for a short length of time.

Waterproof - This garment has a water column between 5,000-10,000mm and is fully waterproof, the material as well as the construction.Warmth

Shell - This is a shell garment and has no insulating properties.

Below is a simple summary of which garments have insulating properties. The warmth scale is based on a number of factors such as weight of padding, type of padding, length, and construction of the garment.

Remember that everyone experiences heat differently and some people feel the cold more than others. This scale is intended to provide a pointer regarding how warm a garment is.

Shell - This is a shell garment and has no insulating properties.

Warm - This garment is warm and has insulating properties with a padding level between 100-140 g/m².

Extra warm - This garment is extra warm and has highly insulating properties with a padding level between 160-300 g/m².Breathability

Below is a simple summary of the breathability of our garments.

No breathability - This garment has a low capacity for transporting moisture in the form of water vapour, which means that you may experience a damp, clammy feeling if you plan to wear the garment for any significant level of physical activity.

Breathability - This garment has a breathability level between 4,000-10,000 g/m²/24h and is made with the ability to transport water vapour through the fabric.

Mechanical breathability - This garment offers mechanical breathability, which means that we have incorporated one or more vents into the garment so that air can pass through. These vents are carefully positioned, so that water cannot penetrate the garment.
